Q2.How does the dual hint system work?
Our dual hint system offers two types of hints: Random Hints that reveal a random empty cell, and Specific Hints that help with the cell you select. You earn hints by completing puzzles, maintaining streaks, and unlocking achievements.
Q3.Are hints unlimited?
Random Hints are earned through gameplay - you receive hints for completing puzzles and unlocking achievements. Premium users get unlimited Specific Hints, while free users receive a limited number.
Q4.How do daily challenges work?
Every day at midnight UTC, we generate fresh Sudoku puzzles for each difficulty level. Complete any game (daily or regular) to maintain your daily streak. You have up to 2 days between games to keep your streak active.
Q5.What difficulty levels are available?
Sudoku AI offers four difficulty levels: Easy (36-42 clues), Medium (30-35 clues), Hard (24-29 clues), and Expert (17-23 clues). Each level is carefully balanced to provide an appropriate challenge.
Q6.How does the achievement system work?
We have 29 achievements across multiple categories: Completion, Speed, Accuracy, Hints, Streaks, Difficulty, and Special achievements. Each achievement unlocked rewards you with 2 bonus hints.
Q7.Can I play offline?
Currently, Sudoku AI requires an internet connection to sync your progress, access daily challenges, and update leaderboards. Offline support may be added in future updates.
Q8.How are leaderboards calculated?
Leaderboards rank players by total points earned. Points come from completing puzzles plus bonuses for speed, accuracy, efficiency, streaks, and mastery (perfect solves). You can view 24-hour and 7-day leaderboards filtered by game type.
Q9.Does Sudoku AI have a mobile app?
Sudoku AI is a web application that works great on all devices - desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers. You can add it to your home screen for a native app-like experience.

Q13.Can I change my subscription plan?
You can upgrade to a longer commitment period at any time (e.g., from monthly to quarterly or yearly). Downgrades are not available, but you can cancel your subscription and it will remain active until the end of your paid period. You can reactivate before it expires.
Q14.What happens when I cancel my subscription?
When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. You keep all premium features including unlimited hints and ad-free experience until then. After the period ends, you'll revert to the free tier.

Q16.Can I play Sudoku AI without creating an account?
Yes! You can play as a guest. However, creating an account allows you to sync progress across devices, compete on leaderboards, and track your long-term statistics.
